At the age of 14, Kevin started his racing career on asphalt in a sportsman race car.  At age 15, Kevin tackled the dirt tracks for his first full season of racing.  After two years in the Sportsman Division, Kevin advanced into the Late Model Division, and one year later (1984) the Wisconsin native traded the "dirt" for asphalt ovals for good.  Now, at age 34, Kevin has raced in a variety of series such as the Central Wisconsin Racing Association (CWRA), Midwest Championships, ARTGO, NASCAR All Pro, American Speed Association (ASA), NASCAR Busch Grand National Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

1999
Finished 16th in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series point standings.  Earned two top five finishes and eleven top fifteen finishes.  Best finish in 1999, Bristol Motor Speedway - third place.

1998
Was selected to drive in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.  Drove the remainder of the 1998 schedule (seventeen races.  First truck race with Brevak Racing: Bristol Motor Speedway - finished eighth.  Qualified second at Flemington Raceway (NJ).  Competed in two Busch Grand National events.

1997
ASA National Champion.  Posted four victories (most wins by any driver in 1997).  Drove to eighteen top ten finishes, third in qualifying point standings.  Led most laps in series (406 more than next competitor).  Completed 99.72% of laps: more than any other driver.  Winner of all four quarters of the Pontiac Performance Program.  Won the Goodyear Deal Championship.

1996
ASA "Pat Shuer Memorial Rookie of the Year" title.  Third in ASA driver point standings, second in qualifying point standings.  First rookie in 29 year history of ASA to win three races.  Fifteen top ten finishes.

1995
ARTGO Series point Champion.  Won two ARTGO events and posted 16 top ten finishes (20 event series).  Completed 99.84% of ARTGO feature laps; most laps completed in series.

1994
Second in ARTGO points; completed the most ARTGO feature laps, 100%.  Won "Hard Charger Award" for passing the most cars during the season.

1990-1993
Competed in ARTGO fielding personal car.  Received "Larry Detjens Sportsmanship Award".

1984-1989
Central Wisconsin Racing Association Champion and Rookie of the Year.
